This set of 4 silkscreened prints made from sketches of workers in Watsonville, California by Andrea Kantrowitz in the 1980s. For 19 months, these 1,100 Chicana workers were on strike, without one striker crossing the picket line. They eventually won all their demands in 1987. The prints, which feature workers' quotations, reveal their determination and spirit.
